Dalit students made to sit in separate row for midday meal in U'khand; probe on

Authorities have begun investigating allegations that Dalit students were made to sit in a separate row for midday meal at a government primary school near Uttarakhand's Almora. Officials who visited the school after the incident, which occurred over a fortnight ago, claimed that there were no signs of caste discrimination. No student's guardian levelled such allegations, officials added.
