Dalit woman killed, her daughter kidnapped in Meerut; police search for accused

A 50-year-old Dalit woman was murdered while trying to protect her 20-year-old daughter from kidnappers in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, after which the kidnappers abducted her daughter. The woman was attacked with a sickle and later succumbed to her injuries in the hospital. Police have formed 10 teams to find the accused and trace the kidnapped woman.
