Daly City council member allegedly assaulted by colleague

California's Daly City council member Juslyn Manalo has claimed that she was physically assaulted by another council member before a meeting inside city hall on Monday. She alleged that council member Pam DiGiovanni slammed a door on her. DiGiovanni refused the allegations and said she is the target of a smear campaign.
