Damini & Ghatak were based on Gandhi’s ideologies: Rajkumar Santoshi

Filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi said his films 'Damini' and 'Ghatak' were based on the ideologies of Mahatma Gandhi. He spoke about his immediate next directorial, titled 'Lahore: 1947' with Sunny Deol, which "is set against the backdrop of partition". "I'm confident that [it will] be bigger than 'Ghayal', 'Damini' and 'Ghatak'," he shared, adding that the film is his dream project.
