World number 60 Luciano Darderi faked a smash and hit the ball gently to score a point in his match against 13th ranked Taylor Fritz in the second round of Madrid Open 2024. Fritz was visibly frustrated and hit the ball with his leg in anger. He won the match with a scoreline of 7-6 (1), 6-4.
