Dargah claims village land as Waqf in TN, 150 families told to 'pay tax or leave'

At least 150 families in a village in Tamil Nadu have received notices from Mutawalli of a local dargah, claiming the land occupied by them as Waqf property. The notice, issued by Syed Ali Sultan Shah, told the residents of Kattukollai to either start paying tax to the dargah or vacate the land. Village residents have approached the District Collector.
