Dark patterns widespread on airline platforms: Report

A new LocalCircles study shows that over 8 in 10 airline passengers in India experienced dark patterns in past year, including hidden fees, forced actions, confirm shaming, and bait-and-switch tactics. IndiGo saw the highest complaints, especially during last week's disruption. Passengers want stronger rules as these practices continue across booking, cancellations, refunds and add-on purchases.
