Darshan didn't attempt suicide, rumours are baseless: DGP Kumar

Director-General of Prisons and Correctional Services Alok Kumar dismissed reports claiming that Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa tried to attempt suicide in Bengaluru Central Prison. The DG Prisons called such claims "completely baseless" and clarified that no such incident took place. "The rumours are far from the truth; he is doing fine," Alok Kumar said to TOI.
