'Darwin's theory dropped from NCERT books' claim misleading: MoS

Union Minister of State for Education Subhas Sarkar said the claim that Darwin's theory has been dropped from NCERT syllabus is misleading. This comes after several academicians opposed removal of the theory from Class 10 syllabus. Sarkar said that the syllabus was rationalised amid COVID-19 to ease burden on students but the theory is still there in Class 12 syllabus.
