Dasun Shanaka gets 1-year PSL ban for joining RR in IPL 2026

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has banned Sri Lanka all-rounder Dasun Shanaka from the PSL for one season. This comes after Shanaka allegedly breached his agreement with Lahore Qalandars by opting out of the PSL and joining IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals (RR) instead in IPL 2026. Earlier, Blessing Muzarabani was banned from PSL for two years for joining KKR.
