Data centre spending to reach $32 trillion by 2050 amid AI boom: Report

Global data centre capital expenditure could reach $31.6 trillion by 2050, according to a PwC report. The figure could even rise to nearly $50 trillion over the next 25 years if AI adoption accelerates beyond the report's "central scenario". The US is expected to account for nearly half of the projected global spending at $15.1 trillion.
