Day 1 of 1st India-New Zealand Test in Bengaluru washed out without a ball bowled

The first day of the first India-New Zealand Test at Bengaluru's M Chinnaswamy Stadium has been washed out without a ball bowled. The match was scheduled to begin at 9.30 am, however, persistent rain didn't allow toss to happen. The play will begin 15 minutes early on Thursday and 98 overs are scheduled to be bowled on the second day.
