De Villiers played rugby, tennis, badminton and football

South African batsman AB de Villiers, who celebrated his 33rd birthday on Friday, used to play tennis, rugby, badminton, football and hockey alongside cricket. De Villiers, who joined South Africa's premier sporting institute at the age of 13, was a part of SA's Junior Davis Cup team alongside leading the South African junior national rugby team.
