Deadline for filing SIR claims & objections extended in Maharashtra

The Election Commission has extended the deadline for filing SIR claims and objections in Maharashtra to October 12 and for their disposal to November 10. The earlier deadline for the filing of claims and objections was September 30. The draft electoral roll was published on August 31, and the new date for the final electoral roll hasn't been announced yet.
