Deadline to link Aadhaar cards with ration cards extended to June 30

The government has extended the deadline to link Aadhaar cards with ration cards to June 30. "There are 80 crore beneficiaries under One Nation One Ration Card (ONORC) scheme. As of mid-February...96% of beneficiaries had been enrolled under ONORC," an official said. "Several states have to catch up to make this 100%...therefore, this extension has been given," the official added.
