Deal with it or face anarchy: Supreme Court to EC as BLOs threatened amid SIR

Supreme Court on Tuesday took serious note of threats issued to Booth-Level Officers (BLOs) engaged in SIR exercise. It asked Election Commission to deal with the issue by bringing the incidences to apex court's notice, adding that otherwise "it'll cause anarchy". It also issued a notice on a plea seeking deployment of central forces to protect BLOs in West Bengal.
