Deals signed on stamp paper for wife-on-rent tradition in MP

Rich men in Madhya Pradesh's Shivpuri district can get a wife on rent according to a tradition called Dhadeecha Pratha. The agreements are signed on stamp papers to rent wives for durations ranging from months to years. Further, the women are reportedly made to stand in markets from where men wanting to rent can choose from them.
