Death toll due to heat stroke at Maharashtra event rises to 11

At least 11 people died and over 20 are undergoing treatment due to heat stroke at the Maharashtra Bhushan Award event in Navi Mumbai on Sunday. The open event was held to felicitate social activist Appasaheb Dharmadhikari. He was given the award by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the presence of CM Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis.
