Death toll due to landslides in Arunachal Pradesh rises to 8

The death toll due to landslides in Arunachal Pradesh amid heavy rains has increased to eight, police said. This comes after a 35-year-old woman's body was retrieved from the debris in the backside of a 'dhaba' in Itanagar after six days of a search operation. Three people died due to landslides in Kurung Kumey while another is still missing.
