Death toll from earthquake in Afghanistan rises to 1,100

The death toll from the 6.3-magnitude earthquake in Afghanistan has risen to 1,100, with more than 3,500 injured. The provinces of Kunar, Nangarhar, Laghman and Nuristan are among the worst affected. Tremors from the earthquake were also reported in Pakistan and India, including cities like Peshawar, Islamabad, Lahore and Delhi.
