Death toll in Kolkata Durga Puja pandal stampede rises to 19; ₹25L, govt job announced for victims' kin

The death toll in the stampede that took place at a Durga Puja pandal in Kolkata on Saturday has risen to 19. West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari announced ₹25 lakh compensation and a government job for kin of each person killed in the incident that happened at the Chorbagan Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal.
