Two more people have died due to the consumption of spurious liquor in Punjab's Majitha, taking the total death toll in the incident to 23. Police have arrested 10 people in the case, including the alleged kingpins. Punjab CM Mann has announced a compensation of ₹10 lakh for the families of the victims, most of whom were daily wage workers.
