Death toll rises to 10 as rain wreaks havoc in Bengaluru

The death toll from Wednesday's heavy rain in Bengaluru rose to 10 on Thursday, with three more deaths reported due to electrocution and a structure collapse. This comes after seven people were killed in a hospital building collapse. Bengaluru recorded 111.5 mm of rainfall on Wednesday, the highest single-day rainfall in April, according to the IMD.
