Decibel level of Mumbai's 'musical road' to be checked after complaints

The decibel levels of Mumbai’s ‘musical road’, which plays 'Jai Ho', will be checked after nearby residents complained of noise. In a letter to the Municipal Commissioner, residents said the “constant, muffled, intrusive background noise” forces them to keep windows shut. A BMC official said authorities are also exploring ways to reduce the sound.
