Declared coronavirus cases in Europe surpass 2,50,000: AFP

The total number of declared coronavirus cases in Europe have crossed 2,50,000, more than half of which have been recorded in Italy and Spain, according to an AFP tally on Thursday. The number of recorded cases stands at 2,58,068 which includes 14,640 deaths. Italy has registered 74,386 cases with 7,503 deaths while Spain has recorded 56,188 with 4,089 deaths.
