Kandla's Deendayal Port handles 7 lakh tonne of cargo in a day

Deendayal Port Authority achieved a milestone in cargo handling by crossing the 7 lakh tonne mark in a single day, surpassing its earlier record of 6.67 lakh tonnes. Recently, Union Minister for Ports, Shipping, and Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal, announced a ₹57,000 crore investment to boost capacity at DPA's Kandla Port.
