Deep learning AI models to precisely detect lung infections

Early detection of lung infections like pneumonia and tuberculosis is essential, but remote areas often lack the facilities. To bridge this gap, Mihir Narayan Mohanty of Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University developed a low-cost, scalable AI deep learning model that screens chest CT scans with 98.33% accuracy. The system offers an accessible diagnostic tool tailored for resource-limited environments.
