Deepfake videos of Shashi Tharoor, ex-Army chief surface online

Deepfakes of Congress MP Shashi Tharoor and former Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Manoj Pande (Retd), in which they appear to criticise the current Indian government and its armed forces, have surfaced online. BOOM found that both videos were digitally altered, with original footage from March 14 showing no such remarks and analysis confirming AI manipulation.
