DeepSeek's 40-year-old CEO Liang Wenfeng has revealed that he likes hiring young Gen-Zers, "bookworms, and humanities majors" instead of people with experience. "If you are pursuing short-term goals, it is right to find people with ready experience," said Wenfeng. He said for long-term, "basic skills, creativity, and passion are much more important" than experience.
