DeepSeek founder Liang's village becomes tourist hotspot in China

China's Mililing village, where Chinese AI startup DeepSeek's founder Liang Wenfeng was born and raised, has turned into a prominent tourism destination as the AI company rose to prominence, as per reports. Local authorities have reportedly initiated a "facelift" of the village where Liang's parents work as school teachers. Tourists reportedly took away stones or pieces of leaves as souvenirs.
