DeepSeek prices its new V4 model 97% lower than OpenAI's GPT-5.5

DeepSeek slashed prices on its AI models, including its latest V4, which now costs 97% less than OpenAI products. The Chinese AI startup brought down the minimum input cost to about $0.14 per million tokens, while OpenAI's GPT-5.5 charges $5.00 per million tokens. DeepSeek is offering a 75% discount on its newly unveiled V4-Pro model for developers until May 5.
