Deepti creates history, becomes world no. 1 T20I bowler for 1st time

India Women all-rounder Deepti Sharma jumped one spot to become the new world number one T20I bowler for the first time in her career. Deepti replaced Australia pacer Annabel Sutherland after she registered figures of 4-1-20-1 in the first T20I against Sri Lanka. Meanwhile, South African captain Laura Wolvaardt replaced Smriti Mandhana to become the world number one ODI batter.
