India spin-bowling all-rounder Deepti Sharma became the leading wicket-taker in women's international cricket, achieving the feat during India-Australia ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 match. She has picked up 356 wickets in 279 matches, surpassing former India skipper Jhulan Goswami's tally of 355 wickets in 284 games. Australia's Ellyse Perry follows Goswami with 336 wickets in 362 matches.
