Defeated candidates in T'gana ask voters to return campaign gifts

Several candidates who lost in the recently concluded municipal elections in Telangana reportedly asked voters to return cash and gifts they distributed during campaign. Videos circulating on social media show candidates or their relatives visiting homes and demanding repayment. "If they gave us something, it was voluntary. We cannot be forced to return it," a local resident said.
