Defence Ministry signs ₹1,950 crore deal with BEL to procure mountain radars for IAF

Defence Ministry has signed a ₹1,950 crore contract with Bharat Electronics Limited for the procurement of two indigenously developed Mountain Radars for Indian Air Force. This Mountain Radar is developed by DRDO's Electronics & Radar Development Establishment and will be manufactured by BEL. The commissioning of these radars will boost the country's air defence and strengthen national security.
