Dehradun airport to be renamed after late PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee

The Uttarakhand government on Saturday approved a proposal to rename capital Dehradun's Jolly Grant Airport's name after late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, an official said. The proposal was approved by the state cabinet at a meeting chaired by CM Trivendra Singh Rawat. A proposal to convene a three-day Winter Session of the Assembly from December 4 was also passed.
