Delaware proclaims Aug 15 as 'India Day' after New York and New Jersey

The Governor of Delaware state in US, Matthew Meyer, proclaimed August 15, India's Independence Day, as 'India Day' after New York and New Jersey did the same. "Delawareans of Indian heritage have enriched our state through their work, leadership, and service...contributing to our shared prosperity and creating opportunities for future generations," the proclamation by Meyer's office said.
