Delayed release made him miss grandmother's funeral, says Dipke's mother; police deny

CJP convenor Abhijeet Dipke's mother alleged that Delhi Police didn't release him in time to attend his grandmother's funeral, despite repeated pleas. Dipke was detained ahead of Saturday's protest against CEC Gyanesh Kumar and released on Sunday. However, Delhi Police denied the claims, saying her grandmother's death was promptly conveyed to him and he was informed of the scheduled funeral.
