Delhi airport customs official who molested Uzbek woman forced to retire

The government has compulsorily retired a customs superintendent who was accused of sexually harassing and molesting a woman from Uzbekistan. The incident took place in May 2019 at the Delhi airport. Officials said the woman was confined alone in a room with the accused, without being accompanied by any woman customs officer, on the suspicion of carrying smuggled goods.
