Delhi airport handled 1,310 evacuation, cargo flights from March 25 to May 4

The Delhi airport handled 310 evacuation flights for about 30,000 passengers and around 1,000 cargo flights from March 25 to May 4 amid the nationwide lockdown, its operator DIAL said on Wednesday. A total of 44 countries, including the United States and Germany, operated flights to evacuate their stranded citizens from India, DIAL added.
