Delhi approves 'Lakshmi Yojana' to give ₹2,500 monthly to women; registrations from Aug 1

Delhi CM Rekha Gupta announced a ₹2,500 monthly financial assistance scheme for eligible women under 'Delhi Lakshmi Yojana'. The registration portal will go live on August 1, allowing eligible women to apply, after which their applications will be scrutinised before payments are approved. "We hope to disburse first instalment to the first batch of beneficiaries around Raksha Bandhan," she said.
