Delhi bans crackers within 300m of hospitals, schools

Delhi Police have declared a 300-metre radius around hospitals, schools, old-age homes, and silence zones as strict 'no-cracker zones' ahead of Diwali. Only green crackers with QR codes from authorised sellers are permitted. Bursting is allowed only on Nov 7–8, between 6–7 am and 8–10 pm. Special teams are deployed to enforce compliance.
