Delhi becomes first Union Territory to lodge FIR for wrong-side driving

Delhi has become the first Union Territory to lodge FIR for wrong-side driving, with four FIRs being filed till now. Until now, wrong-side driving largely led to challan of ₹5,000. However, when an FIR is lodged, the offence carries possible jail term of up to six months along with a fine of ₹1,000 or both.
