Delhi belongs to the entire nation, Centre tells SC

The national capital belongs to all citizens of India and not just to people living in Delhi, the Centre on Wednesday told the Supreme Court. The Centre, which is currently involved in a legal battle with the Delhi government over deciding the administrative supremacy of Delhi, had earlier said that it was a Union Territory and not a State.
