Delhi boosts fight against drug-resistant TB with advanced testing

Delhi has strengthened its fight against tuberculosis as its Intermediate Reference Laboratory received first-time CTD certification for advanced drug susceptibility testing of bedaquiline and pretomanid. This will enable faster diagnosis and timely treatment of MDR and XDR-TB patients, reducing delays and improving outcomes under the National TB Elimination Programme.
