Delhi CM approves transplantation of trees for Executive Enclave

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has granted permission to the CPWD to transplant 173 trees from the site of the proposed Executive Enclave under the Central Vista project. It approved the proposal upon the condition that CPWD would take up plantation of ten times the trees it would transplant. The Executive Enclave will house the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), among others.
