Delhi CM inaugurates 200 MT/day biogas plant at Goyla Dairy

Delhi CM Rekha Gupta inaugurated a biogas plant at Goyla Dairy, Najafgarh, built by MCD for ₹16 crore. The plant will process 200 metric tonnes of cow dung daily, producing ~5.6 tonnes of compressed biogas supplied to IGL, and organic manure. It aims to reduce Yamuna pollution and pay farmers 67 paise per kg of cow dung.
