Delhi court cancels warrant against SFI leader after CPI(M) alleges witch-hunt

A Delhi court recalled the non-bailable warrant issued against Students' Federation of India (SFI) leader Aishe Ghosh in a 2021 protest case and imposed a ₹1,000 fine. This came after Ghosh physically appeared before the court. Earlier, SFI's parent body CPI(M) alleged the government was "witch-hunting" Ghosh for participating in the recent CJP protest by "digging up" an old case.
