Delhi court orders FIR against Abhijit Iyer for offensive X posts

A Delhi court ordered FIR registration against political commentator Abhijit Iyer-Mitra for objectionable posts against journalists of Newslaundry on X. The court said a police probe was necessary as the offence took place in cyberspace. It added that the police's Action Taken Report was "not satisfactory as...tweets weren't considered". He had made the objectionable posts in 2025.
