Delhi electricity bills to rise as regulator allows fuel surcharge

Delhi's power regulator has allowed electricity distribution companies to add another fuel surcharge to power bills for the second month in a row. The additional charge is as high as 7.94% for May, depending on the provider. The companies sought the hike after electricity purchase costs rose above the approved levels.
